Curatorial

I have worked as a curator and film programmer for over a decade, producing and collaborating on exhibitions and organizing screening series for: Burchfield Penney Art Center, Carnegie Art Center, Squeaky Wheel/Buffalo Media Resources, the University at Buffalo Art Galleries and the University at Buffalo Anderson Gallery. As part of the curatorial committee for the city-wide exhibition Beyond/In Western New York 2007 and 2010, I co-produced a new work by Lorraine O'Grady that was later included in the landmark exhibit Blues for Smoke (curated by Bennet Simpson of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles), which traveled to the Wexner Center for the Arts, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.

Works co-produced through Hallwalls Artists-in-Residence Project (HARP) have been: shown at the Whitney Museum of American Art, Art Basel Miami Beach 2011, International Film Festival Rotterdam, Images Film Festival, Toronto; acquired by the Albright-Knox Art Gallery; and reviewed by Artforum
